It's good and solid, but, it doesn't fit as well as it should. This panel took about 4 hours to install still need to grind the bottom welds and do some body filler and sanding when it comes that. Purchased new panels at $120ea then about $80 in.

If your inner rocker is still solid enough to weld stuff to, you could probably fab up some replacement pinch sections for what's missing and weld those to the inner. I have the idea to use 4x4x1/8 steel as the main rocker and to use 2x2. Watch as tim installs a replacement rocker panel. I then sprayed about a pint of fluid film in each rocker cavity. Fortunately, there are direct replacement rocker panels for the silverado, so once you remove the old panel, you can fit and weld a new one into place with hold the new rocker panel up to the silverado to measure the size.
